My Day Job

I'm a journalist by trade and a storyteller by nature. I'm honored to serve the people of Arizona, keeping them informed on important stories and hopefully, making them smile with the good stories that celebrate our community.

Here are a few links to some of my most memorable moments in tv:

Sharing a smile with The Wiz - amazing!
One of my favorite moments in television -- interviewing my all-time favorite sports star, Ozzie Smith.

EOR - End of runway at Luke AFB. Intense!
My experience in producing "24 Hours: All-Access" is among the top 5 things I've ever done in tv. Our crews spent 24 hours in a labor & delivery unit, the Phoenix Zoo, Chase Field & Luke Air Force Base. Here's a wrap up with a quick look back at all 4 locations where Mark Curtis spent 24 hours. Haboob - 7/5/11
Haboob invades the Valley. One of my FAVORITE shows to produce - the night a HUGE dust storm swallowed the valley. It was THE largest and most powerful dust storms I've seen EVER. Watch here.

I swiped the mic from a CNN crew covering the storm.
Tropical Storm Lee interrupts my 2011 Labor Day vacation in Orange Beach, AL, so I shot 2 stories on my cell phone. Story 1Story 2.
